Forest Floor
Breathe into the peace
Kira Braun
In the midst of a quiet forest
Where the deep woodland floor
Is filled with bluebells sweet
Their gentle aroma wafts
Upward into hazy beams of light,
Filtered by the mist
Rising through slender trunks
Tender shoots of green
Sprout forth and reach for sun
A majestic canopy protects
The rich carpet
Drink the feeling in
For this comes at a price
When we forget
To stop and really look.
