Blessed by the Stars
Summer’s eve, starlit night,
Kira Braun
Hand in hand we walked
Down the path, no end in sight,
Laughing often, and we talked...
We spoke of years gone by,
How love’s been kind to us,
And still we’d look and sigh,
We’ve become one, and thus ~
We know each other’s touch,
We feel each other’s pain,
We help each other’s needs,
Eyes meet, again and again
Our gazes lock and deep we look,
The surge of love it fills our heart,
A feeling from a story book...
We know, we’ll never part.
Growing old, together we will go
Whate’er life’s challenges see ~
Holding hands, we’ll always know,
Our last gesture, it will be.
